Product Photographer - Harrisburg, PA

Must be located in daily driving distance to Harrisburg, PA location

CJ Pony Parts is looking for a full-time creative Photographer & Editor to join our Creative Marketing Department! The Photographer & Editor will use their creative eye and attention to detail to photograph, edit, re-touch, and colorize product images shot in our studio and lifestyle images photographed outside of the studio.

To be successful in this role, you will use your skills in product and lifestyle photography, along with Adobe Software (Photoshop and Lightroom), while also being able to work both independently and collaboratively to obtain individual and team goals. If you love using your creative ability to catch the eyes of shoppers, this is the job for you!

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Photograph live events on and off site.
  • Shoot photographs of new and existing products in and out of studio.
  • Review and re-touch product photos shot in and out of our photography studio.
  • Colorize images to match specific color swatches and products.
  • Re-size images based on specifications.
  • Maintain daily traffic of product images that need re-touched.
  • Work creatively and efficiently to support the team goals.
  • Collaborate with Photographer on ways to improve images.
  • Effectively help set up off-site photoshoots and provide expertise on composition and lighting
  • Use your creativity to photograph vehicles off-site, in various locations in order to accomplish marketing specifications
  • Determine proper layout and composition to photograph vehicle parts installs with the best interest of our customers in mind
  • Work with our internal departments and Merchandising team to collaborate as needed
  • Setup and conduct marketing photoshoots per provided guidance and concept

Job Specifications:

  • Education: Associates degree in Photography or related industry experience.
  • Experience: 2-4 years experience in a professional studio or production setting.
  • Specific Skills: Familiar with Sony cameras and photography equipment. Proficient in studio lighting and experience in different lighting techniques and troubleshooting. Extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, knowledge of Adobe Bridge, advanced re-touching skills and techniques such as color correction, understanding of masks and paths, and image manipulation, and keen attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.: Expert level Photoshop skills, knowledge of automotive parts a plus, but not required.
