CJ Pony Parts, Inc. is looking for a full-time Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team. The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely processing and completion of Accounts Payable activities using multiple computer-based programs while maintaining consistency with standard accounting practices and established company policies, procedures and processes.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Compare invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation to ensure accurate payments and recording of inventory
• Identify and resolve billing issues with vendors
• Track and communicate inventory discrepancies and shortages to the appropriate internal departments
• Enter invoices into the Accounts Payable system
• Assist with processing check runs
• Document processes and procedures to establish reference documentation.
• Identify and assist with the implementation of improved processes and procedures
• Train and mentor other accounting team members

Additional Requirements:

• Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience: 2 years of experience
• Specific Skills: Interpersonal skills, independent work skills, detail oriented, and computer knowledge are required. Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as invoice quantity and unit prices, and vendor discounts
• Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and accounts payable data entry.
